The magnificent sea views alone are worth a visit to the most recent addition to Tenby's thriving restaurant scene. Once called Nana's Restaurant, the newly christened Ocean Restaurant, situated in St. Julian’s Street, overlooking the town’s picturesque harbour debuts under its new ownership.

  The new owners, Viorel Vlasceanu and Alex Steele, manager and head chef, respectively, are committed to using only the freshest local ingredients, and are both passionate about their jobs, guaranteeing a warm and friendly welcome from themselves and all members of the Ocean Restaurant team.
   Serving a wonderful variety of international cuisine, there's something for everyone. Indeed, everyone is welcome at the Ocean Restaurant for all occasions.
   If you’re a family with small children, there’s a fantastic range of meals on the children’s menu, from french bread pizza to a Smarties pop-up dessert. Or if you’re a couple searching for the perfect romantic evening, take a seat by the window overlooking the harbour in the elegant second floor dining room and take your pick from a delicious a la carte menu.
   There are many enticing delights featured on the menu, devised by the establishment’s experienced chefs to bring you a mixture of classical and modern international cuisine, all created to a high standard and using fresh, local and seasonal produce wherever possible. Such delights from the menu include:

fillet of seabass served with fresh local mussels in a sage scented broth and deep fried leek
pan fried duck breast served with braised red cabbage, parsnip puree and a port and pancetta jus
braised neck fillet of Welsh lamb served on bubble and squeak potatoes with a rich gravy made from the braising stock, to name but a few
There are also ever-changing specials to choose from.

   Let's also not forget the light and breezy lunch menu on offer in the newly-refurbished surroundings of the ground floor bistro, essential for those pick me- up coffee breaks, or simply relaxing on a lazy afternoon, and don’t forget the special Sunday lunches too.
   As well as that, from Easter onwards and throughout the summer, the Ocean Restaurant will also be opening from 8 am to serve breakfasts.
   The Ocean Restaurant is also the ideal setting for functions such as small wedding parties, christenings, birthdays and the like.
   It can also be booked for meetings and conferences. Over the next few weeks, keep an eye out for special menus and events at the Ocean Restaurant to celebrate Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
